Thank you for your kind words and for sharing your thoughts on this design. I wholeheartedly agree, the design is not as impactful when the scarf is tied, and in the GM size, the effect is diluted - yet when I look at it when displayed, I cannot help to stop in wonder of its beauty.
I just stumbled across your blog, and it looks like I can get lost in it for days! I especially like how you often show a scarf in both the full and knotted forms, as there really can be a difference in how it looks.
This is a beauty. It is so well done that I feel at any moment the giraffes will gracefully move away. This scarf, as w so many others would be well displayed by the Hermes wall mount unit. Maisie
Hello Mimi, thank you for your kind message and words. I'm thrilled to be able to welcome you here, and hopeful that you'll return for more posts. Unfortunately, I was away for a couple of weeks and hence I "fell behind" in sharing my thoughts, but now that I'm back, I promise to make it up one of these days.
Thanks again for your visit and I look forward to additional comments and reactions....
Codex Costinianus - the Costinianic Code ...... a compilation of writings on the utmost impactful and enduring love stories ever captured on canvas.
My intention is to share those creations of art that have triggered a strong vibration within me and that continue to inspire me through their unparalleled beauty. The artists' apparent craftsmanship, talent and creativity are equally inspiring for me, as - I hope - will become for you, too.
I am too complex to describe succinctly in a box.
I like to look at the world ... feelingly, and to explore the human experience.
I was always interested in what it felt like to be the whole of me.
This is the most beautiful colourway! I am searching for this in a 90. I find this design is lost in the GM size.
