Collection SS2015: Brandebourgs

A very popular design has been re-issued in a gavroche size (45cm/16in) for all those loving the reference to military and their wonderful, unforgettable parades.  Who doesn't remember (fondly!) running to the first row of on-lookers gathered along a wide boulevard to watch a festive military parade?  The instruments, the swords, the flags, and not least the long lines of troops, all in splendid regalia, marching at the same pace in the rhythms of their own music ?

I've always dreamt of being in Paris on the 14th of July, and I'm yet to make my dream a reality.  One day, I'll post the pics, to share the joy.

Collection FW2014: Les Sportives

There, a glimpse of the essence of smart, 1930s chic: elongated, slim silhouettes, a discreet waistline, cropped hair, slacks, gilets and blazers, cut in fluid, comfortable fabrics. Wardrobe essentials for every active, modern woman, then as now. Our figures are the essence of relaxed chic. Each new fashionable haunt imposes its own, specially-adapted look, and each outfit is evocatively named for a resort, a way of getting there, or a sporting activity.

This pocket square is really wonderful and a joy to wear.  Try it for fun - you won't regret it !

Collection SS1996: L'été de Loula

Toronto has been hit by a heat wave, long longed for, and I couldn't think of a better scarf to reflect the excitement than "L'été de Loula" ("Loula's Summer") - a "page" recounting, in French, Loula's desire to BECOME Summer.

The concept of an actual writing piece appealed to me instantly, and the colour combination - the predominant "ink" blue on a white background while the illustrations have a pale blue to match the darker hue - is fantastic.

This design comes as a gavroche (pocket square)-size, and anyone sporting it (whether a gentleman in the outer pocket of his jacket, or a lady around her neck, wrist or on her purse) will be the subject of a great many turning heads....
